Who Are We:
The purpose of the United Methodist Women is to be a community of women whose purpose is to know God and to experience freedom as whole persons through Jesus Christ, to develop a creative supportive fellowship; and to expand concepts of mission through participation in the global ministries of the church.
We meet monthly and currently have about twelve members. We do several large projects every year including the Bazzar, the Cookie Walk, and The Baby Shower. We give locally to Kairos Dwelling, Hospitality House, Loaves and Fishes, Gospel Mission Justice House and Ministry with Community. Current Projects:
The Bazaar: Sunnyside's annual bazaar is Saturday, November 3rd, 2007. We hope to see you there! This year, it is taking place in the church basement. Please try out the new elevator to come on down to the basement. Lunch will be served from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and a variety of desserts will be available.
